Coach Marc Sieving enters his 5th season as the head coach at Elba High School. Coach Sieving’s overall record at Elba is 40-8 with his most current team making it to the semifinals of the AHSAA tournament... Since arriving at Elba, the Tigers have won 3 region championships and have had 2 back to back years of being undefeated in the regular season. The Elba Tigers Single Wing Attack has improved each season during Coach Sieving’s tenure.  In 2023 the Tigers rushed for 5,868 yards(4th best all time in the state of Alabama) and 83 TD’s. Running Back Alvin Henderson broke the single season rushing TD record and the single season overall TD record. 

This will be his 26th year coaching in the Wiregrass. Prior to Elba, Coach Sieving was an assistant coach at Enterprise High School. He coached Defensive Line for 8 years and Linebackers for 3 years. In 2010 Coach Sieving was named Defensive Coordinator at Enterprise High School and served in this capacity for 3 years. He also spent five years as the head coach at Dauphin Junior High School.  Coach Sieving graduated from Enterprise High School in 1992 and played football for legendary coach Bill Bacon. He graduated from Troy University with a BS Degree in Physical Education.

Coach Sieving is married to Angie Sieving who is also a teacher.  They have three children, McCain and Madison who are recent graduates of  the University of Alabama and Ty who is a 2024 graduate of  Elba High School. Coach enjoys training his dog Lady, working outdoors and spending time with his family.
